NOVOCAINE is a 2025 action thriller film directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, from a screenplay by Lars Jacobson.

When the girl of his dreams is kidnapped, a man (Jack Quaid) incapable of feeling physical pain turns his rare condition into an unexpected advantage in the fight to rescue her.

The cast includes Jack Quaid (The Boys), Amber Midthunder, Ray Nicholson, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh.

From director Darren Lynn Bousman, the man behind Saw II, III, and IV, Spiral is described as a re-imaging of the Saw franchise. It’s no secret that this franchise has a HUGE following, even though that has dwindled as of late. I personally enjoyed the 2017 film Jigsaw and thought it was a nice conclusion to the franchise. It will be interesting to see where Spiral decides to take things (all-new franchise perhaps?). Check out the official trailers below!!

Those Who Wish Me Dead

From director Taylor Sheridan, the man behind Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River, and Yellowstone, Those Who Wish Me Dead is yet another tense crime thriller adding to his impressive resume. The film is based on the novel from Michael Koryta. The cast includes Angelina Jolie, Jon Bernthal, Nicholas Hoult, Tyler Perry, Aidan Gillen, and Finn Little.

I read the book and loved it, it’s the closest I have come to The Girl on the Train as far as mind-bending psychological thrillers. Can’t wait for the movie.
