• The film was shot in 2014 but the release was postponed for three years. The first test screening happened in November 2014 and didn't get positive reactions. The film would be released in theaters in June 2016, but the release date was pushed to July 2016, then to February 2017, August 25, 2017 and finally to September 1, 2017.
• This film was seven weeks away from shooting in 2004. When the British government shuttered a tax break program, the $45 million budget grew by about $17 million, and the film was shut down. The film was resurrected by Ruby Films and The Weinstein Company in 2013 and the budget has been slimmed down to $25 million.

The directorial debut for actor Jay Baruchel, Goon: Last of the Enforcers is the sequel to the 2011 film that was very well received by critics. This looks to be more of the same which in my mind is a good thing! The film stars Seann William Scott, Liev Schreiber, Elisha Cuthbert, and Jay Baruchel. Check out the official trailer below!!

The Layover, the 2nd directorial effort from one of the best actors in Hollywood, William H. Macy aka Frank Gallagher, is a R-rated comedy about two best friends who find themselves battling it out for the affection of a stranger they meet during a layover. This will be a limited release more than likely but with a talented director and a solid cast I think it could be pretty damn good, and the trailer didn't disappoint either. • Was meant to be the first feature length film for Lea Michele since New Year's Eve (2009) but she had to drop out of the project due to her commitments with Scream Queens(2015). Michele was ultimately replaced by Alexandra Daddario.

• Noomi Rapace fractured her nose during filming when an elbow accidentally hit her face. She, however, didn't realize the extent of the injury until much later so, after a brief black out, she just got up and insisted on carrying on with the scene. As of April 2015, the fracture had yet to be mended and had healed up in a broken state (meaning it needs to be re-broken up again in order to fix).
• The screenplay for this film was featured in the 2008 Blacklist; a list of the "most liked" unmade scripts of the year.
