2011's The Mechanic starring Jason Statham was a great popcorn flick in my humble opinion, and now we finally have a sequel. War Dogs is directed by Todd Phillips who has a number of successful comedy directing credits under his belt including Old School, the Hangover, Due Date etc. Bottom line he knows his way around a comedy and is no stranger to throwing in a little action while hes at it. The film is based on a true story (believe it or not) and stars top-tier actors Jonah Hill and Miles Teller. Teller doesn't have quite the notoriety that Hill has but he is a great actor. War Dogs looks like it is going to be amazing and I already have high expectations for this summer. Check out the extremely entertaining trailer below.

Cast Bryce Dallas Howard, Karl Urban, Robert Redford, Wes Bentley

Rating PG

Release Date August 12th, 2016

“The adventures of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who just so happens to be a dragon.”

I thought this was the sequel to Jurassic World at first, I mean a dragon is sort of a dinosaur right? Between that and Bryce Dallas Howard I had to do a double take. It turns out Pete's Dragon is based on a 1977 musical but thankfully this 2016 remake is not a musical (seriously, not a fan of musicals). Pete's Dragon stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Karl Urban, Robert Redford, and Wes Bentley. Check out the latest trailers below.
