From writer/director Jennifer Kent, the creative mind behind the critically acclaimed indie horror The Babadook, The Nightingale is set in 1825, and tells the story of Clare, a young Irish convict woman, who chases a British officer through the rugged Tasmanian wilderness, bent on revenge for a terrible act of violence he committed against her family.
