KLARA AND THE SUN is a 2026 science fiction coming-of-age comedy drama film directed by Taika Waititi, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Dahvi Waller, an adaptation of Nobel Prize-winner Kazuo Ishiguro’s bestselling novel of the same name.

Klara (Jenna Ortega) is an Artificial Friend who wants nothing more than to find the perfect home. When Klara meets Josie (Mia Tharia), each immediately senses a kindred spirit in the other. Josie has a fraught relationship with her mother (Amy Adams) and they’ve suffered great loss, but Klara’s innocent wonder and unwavering loyalty begin to heal the family and bring light to Josie’s complicated world. 

The cast includes Jenna Ortega, ​​​​​​Amy Adams, Mia Tharia, Aran Murphy​, Steve Buscemi, and Natasha Lyonne.

To be more specific, this is the Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Chenqui!

Borat is back!! Love him or hate him, Sacha Baron Cohen was born to play this role. His brand of comedy certainly is an acquired taste, but I think he is absolutely hilarious. The sequel to the 2006 comedy, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, is now available to stream on Amazon Prime. Watch the latest trailer below.

On the Rocks

After a long wait the duo teams up again with the comedy drama On The Rocks. In the film, Murray stars alongside Rashida Jones and Marlon Wayans. Jones plays a young mother who reconnects with her larger-than-life playboy father, played by Murray, on an adventure through New York. The trailer is great in my opinion and sets the stage for an adult coming-of-age comedy drama allowing viewers the opportunity to witness a unique father and daughter bond. In an interview earlier this year with 92Y, Coppola talked about the dynamic of the film:

“It’s kind of the clash of how they look at relationships and also how your relationship with your parent affects your relationships in your life. … It’s the two of them as a father and daughter sort of on a little adventure to spy on her husband. It’s a lot of them talking about life and men and women over martinis in New York.”

On The Rocks is an A24 and Apple TV+ joint release as part of their new partnership, hitting limited theaters October 2nd and Apple TV+ October 23rd.
