The directorial debut for Michael Carney, Same Kind of Different as Me is a drama based on the best-selling book of the same name. The cast includes Renée Zellweger, Greg Kinnear, Djimon Hounsou, and Jon Voight. I am not familiar with the book but the trailer looks pretty good and this is a damn good cast.
