People were a bit letdown by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but the overwhelming success of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman (she is AMAZING!) has reignited the excitement and anticipation for DC fans. - This film is being released on the same day the animated series Justice League (2001) first aired sixteen years earlier.
- Laurence Fishburne was asked to reprise his role as Perry White for a cameo, but scheduling conflicts with other projects made him unavailable on the day filming was supposed to take place.
- The film cast includes three Oscar winners: Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons; and four Oscar nominees: Amy Adams, Willem Dafoe, Diane Lane and Jesse Eisenberg.
