From director Michael Cuesta (Kill the Messenger), American Assassin is a spy thriller based on the book of the same name written by Vince Flynn, the talented author who died tragically in 2013 after a battle with prostate cancer. I have yet to read the book but I plan on grabbing it from my local library soon because the trailer looks damn good! The cast includes Dylan O’Brien, Michael Keaton, Sanaa Lathan, and Taylor Kitsch.
