The writing and directing debut for actor Joey Kern, who has played a small part in a number of comedies and horror films, Big Bear is a ridiculous comedy about a guy who is dumped by his fiancé, only to be convinced by his troublemaker friends to have his bachelor party anyway. The premise feels very familiar (it has definitely been done before), but for a low-budget comedy with a decent enough cast it actually looks like it could be pretty funny.
