From director Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Red Riding Hood), Miss Bala is a crime thriller that tells the story of a woman who finds the power she never knew she had when she is drawn into a dangerous world of cross-border crime. Hardwicke has proven she has a knack for directing but I am admittedly a bit cautious of the PG-13 rating for any film involving cross-border crime, but we will see how it goes.
