Following a screening of the film at the Toronto International Film Festival, David Mackenzie decided to cut 20 minutes from the film.
Ben Foster was originally cast in the film to reunite with his Hell or High Water (2016) colleagues, director David Mackenzie & Chris Pine. While the project was in development, Foster dropped out & was later replaced by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
