He won for the first, fifth and seventh season, tying the record held by Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul for most wins in the Best Supporting Actor category for the same role.
Maester Aemon Targaryen of the Night's Watch is revealed to be blind in the novels. He was played by Peter Vaughan, who was legally partially blind himself.
