From director Pierre Morel, the man behind Taken (2008) and From Paris with Love (2010), Peppermint is a revenge story that is already being referred to as the female John Wick, that is a high bar right there. The story follows a woman who ends up in a coma after she is badly beaten by a gang of thugs who murder her husband and daughter. On a tour of revenge she intends to take down all who she considers to be responsible, including corrupt cops and politicians.
