Keanu Reeves has stated in interviews that he does not want the franchise to be destroyed by sequels and the 'John Wick' series will most likely conclude in chapter 3.
The title "Parabellum" comes from the Latin phrase: "Si vis pacem, para bellum" which means "If you want peace, prepare for war." It is also an alternate name for the ubiquitous 9mm Beretta handgun cartridge ("9mm Parabellum")
