As a fan of Hayden Church’s dry brand of humor and his chemistry with Jessica Parker, this is a show I look forward to every week. Creator Sharon Horgan was not only interested in the intricacies of the couple parting ways, but also the industry of lawyers, authors, mediators and counselors that deals with divorce.
The show was originally about a Missouri-based couple going through a divorce. The wife was a successful TV-host and the husband a chef who quit his career in order to focus on the marriage.
