Must-See Netflix Movies | Sept - Oct 2019

January 4, 2017

Let’s be honest, a direct-to-Netflix movie does not need to be an Oscar contender in order for it to be worth watching, right? I mean sometimes the movies you can only find on the streaming giant are a nice break from what we would consider to be “quality films” (ahem most of the Adam Sandler movies).

But don’t run off yet, the below films are Netflix exclusives that are much more than a thrown together POS with a few big names attached to it, and some of them actually look pretty damn good. Check out the trailers below as well as links to an exclusive preview for each movie.

“Zach Galifianakis and his oddball crew take a road trip to complete a series of high-profile celebrity interviews.”

Available to stream September 27th. Check out an exclusive preview Between Two Ferns: The Movie

“A Philadelphia police officer struggles with a lifelong obsession to track down a mysterious serial killer whose crimes defy explanation.”

“After hearing a young boy’s cry for help, a sister and brother venture into a vast field of tall grass in Kansas but soon discover there may be no way out...and that something evil lurks within.”
Some places have a mind of their own. Based on the novella by Stephen King and Joe Hill, when siblings Becky and Cal hear the cries of a young boy lost within a field of tall grass, they venture in to rescue him, only to become ensnared themselves by a sinister force that quickly disorients and separates them.

Available to stream October 4th. Check out an exclusive preview In the Tall Grass

“After escaping Jack and his gang, Jesse Pinkman goes on the run from the police and tries to escape his own inner turmoil.”
Picking up moments after the series finale of Breaking Bad ends, Aaron Paul is back as Jesse Pinkman in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, directed by Vince Gilligan, on Netflix October 11. For limited theatrical event, visit www.elcamino-movie.com for showtimes

Available to stream October 11th. Check out an exclusive preview El Camino

Ray Monroe (Sam Worthington), and his wife Joanne (Lily Rabe) rush their daughter to the emergency room of a nearby hospital after she is hurt in an accident. After being sent away for further testing, his wife and daughter vanish and all records of their visit disappear.

Available to stream October 11th. Check out an exclusive preview Fractured

“Eddie Murphy portrays real-life legend Rudy Ray Moore, a comedy and rap pioneer who proved naysayers wrong when his hilarious, obscene, kung-fu fighting alter ego, Dolemite, became a 1970s Blaxploitation phenomenon.”
Academy Award nominee Eddie Murphy portrays real-life legend Rudy Ray Moore, a comedy and rap pioneer who proved naysayers wrong when his hilarious, obscene, kung-fu fighting alter ego, Dolemite, became a 1970s Blaxploitation phenomenon.

Available to stream October 25th. Check out an exclusive preview Dolemite Is My Name

HAPPY STREAMING!! And don’t forget the popcorn and Haribo’s!
