Everyone's favorite food inspector is back.
BAD MONKEY is a dark comedy drama series created by Bill Lawrence, based on the novel from Carl Hiaasen. The first season, which premiered in 2024, closely adapted Hiaasen’s 2013 novel, but the new season is said to go in an entirely new direction instead of following the next book.
Disgraced detective-turned-health inspector Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn) witnesses the murder of a top Florida fixer. An ambitious state attorney pairs him with a strict forensic accountant to solve the crime, dragging Yancy into a turf war between rival criminal organizations.
The cast includes Vince Vaughan, Natalie Martinez, Charlotte Lawrence, John Ortiz, John Malkovich, Yvonne Strahovski, Zavior Phillips, Dax Shepard, Sam Jaeger, Nate Jackson, Sofia Boutella, and June Diane Raphael.
