Day Shift

Day Shift is a 2022 horror comedy from director J.J. Perry in his directorial debut, from a screenplay by Shay Hatten and Tyler Tice. Chad Stahelski, the stunt coordinator turned director and the man behind the John Wick franchise, serves as a producer on the film.

A hard-working, blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted 8-year-old daughter. His mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income: hunting and killing vampires.

The cast includes Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco, Snoop Dogg, Scott Adkins, and Steve Howey.

Bodies Bodies Bodies

Bodies Bodies Bodies is a 2022 black comedy slasher film directed by Halina Reijn. It is only the 2nd film directed by the Amsterdam native, an accomplished actress turned director. The screenplay was a collective effort between Sarah DeLappe, Kristen Roupenian, Chloe Okuno, Josh Sharp, and Aaron Jackson. The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 14, 2022.

When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game turns deadly in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong.

The cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Pete Davidson, Rachel Sennott, Myha'la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, and Lee Pace.

Bodies Bodies Bodies is scheduled to debut in limited theaters on August 5th with a wide release on August 12th, courtesy of A24. Watch the official trailers below.

Mack & Rita

Mack and Rita is a 2022 is a coming-of-age comedy film, directed by Katie Aselton, from a screenplay by Madeline Walter and Paul Welsh. This is Aselton’s first time back in the directors chair since the romantic comedy The Freebie, where she starred alongside Dax Shepard (2010), followed by the horror thriller Black Rock, where she starred with Lake Bell and Kate Bosworth. She does not play a role in this film.

When 30-year-old self-proclaimed homebody Mack Martin (Elizabeth Lail) reluctantly joins a Palm Springs bachelorette trip for her best friend Carla (Taylour Paige), her inner 70-year-old is released -- literally. The frustrated writer and influencer magically transforms into her future self: "Aunt Rita" (Oscar®-winner Diane Keaton). Freed from the constraints of other people's expectations, Rita comes into her own, becoming an unlikely social media sensation and sparks a tentative romance with Mack's adorable dog-sitter, Jack (Dustin Milligan). A sparkling comedy with a magical twist, Mack & Rita celebrates being true to yourself at any age.

Co-stars include Simon Rex, Nicole Byer, Patti Harrison, Loretta Devine, and Wendie Malick.

Emily the Criminal

Emily the Criminal is a 2022 crime drama written and directed by John Patton Ford, in his directorial debut. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24th, 2022, to very positive reviews. The rights to the film were purchased by Roadside Attractions and Vertical Entertainment.

Emily (Aubrey Plaza) is saddled with student debt and locked out of the job market due to a minor criminal record. Desperate for income, she takes a shady gig as a “dummy shopper,” buying goods with stolen credit cards supplied by a handsome and charismatic middleman named Youcef (Theo Rossi). Faced with a series of dead-end job interviews, Emily soon finds herself seduced by the quick cash and illicit thrills of black-market capitalism, and increasingly interested in her mentor Youcef. Together, they hatch a plan to bring their business to the next level in Los Angeles.

Emily the Criminal is set to debut in select theaters on August 12th.

A League of Their Own

A League of Their Own is a 2022 period sports comedy drama television series co-created by Will Graham and Abbi Jacobson, who also stars in the series. It is an adaptation of the 1992 film of the same name with new characters and story lines, about the formation of a World War II era women's professional baseball team.

The cast includes Chanté Adams, D'Arcy Carden, Roberta Colindrez, Gbemisola Ikumel, Kelly McCormack, and Priscilla Delgado.
