In the Summers

IN THE SUMMERS is a 2024 semi-autobiographical drama film written and directed by Alessandra Lacorazza Samudio in her feature directorial debut. The film won the Grand Jury Prize U.S. Dramatic at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

Siblings Violeta and Eva live in California with their mother, but every summer they travel to Las Cruces, New Mexico, to spend time with their father, Vicente. Over the course of summers, Violeta and Eva learn to appreciate their father.

The cast includes René “Residente” Pérez Joglar, Sasha Calle, Lío Mehiel, Sharlene Cruz, Leslie Grace, Emma Ramos, Kimaya Thais Limon, Allison Salinas, Dreya Castillo, and Luciana Elisa Quiñonez.

Kinda Pregnant

KINDA PREGNANT is a 2025 comedy film directed by Tyler Spindel, from a screenplay by Julie Paiva and Amy Schumer.

Jealous of her best friend’s pregnancy, Lainy (Amy Schumer) wears a fake baby bump... and accidentally meets the man of her dreams.

The cast includes Amy Schumer, Jillian Bell, Brianne Howey, Will Forte, Damon Wayans Jr., Chris Geere, and Alex Moffat.
