THE WATERFRONT is a 2025 drama television series inspired by true events and created by Kevin Williamson (Dawson’s Creek, Scream).

The flawed Buckley family attempts to retain control of their crumbling North Carolina fishing empire driving them to increasingly dangerous means to keep themselves afloat.

The cast includes Holt McCallany, Maria Bello, Melissa Benoist, Jake Weary, Rafael L. Silva, Humberly González, Danielle Campbell, and Brady Hepner.

From director David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Stir of Echoes), who also wrote the screenplay, You Should Have Left is a horror thriller that tells the story of a successful middle-aged man whose marriage to his much younger actress wife is shredding at the seams, frayed by her secretiveness, his jealousy, and the shadow of his past. In an effort to repair their relationship Theo and Susanna book a vacation at a stunning, remote modern home in the Welsh countryside for themselves and their six-year-old daughter. What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a perfect nightmare when Theo's grasp on reality begins to unravel and he suspects that a sinister force within the house knows more than he or Susanna have revealed, even to each other. • The film's title alludes to squawk code 7500. In the event of a hijacking, the pilot inputs ("squawks") the code into the transponder, an onboard electronic device used to identify the aircraft on air traffic control (ATC) radar monitoring systems. Squawk code 7500 silently alerts ATC of the situation without the hijacker's knowledge.
