Shazam! Fury of the Gods

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a 2023 superhero film directed by David F. Sandberg, and written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan. It is based on the DC Comics character Shazam, and is the sequel to Shazam! (2019), as well as the 12th installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).

Billy Batson and his foster siblings, who transform into superheroes by saying "Shazam!", are forced to get back into action and fight the Daughters of Atlas. They must stop them from using a weapon that could destroy the world.

The cast includes Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, and Helen Mirren.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is scheduled to debut in theaters March 17th, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures. Watch the official trailer below.

Swarm

Swarm is a 2023 horror thriller television series created by Donald Glover and Janine Nabers. The series is set as the Opening Night TV Premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin, Texas on March 10th.

The series tells the story of Dre, a young woman who is obsessed with a fictional pop star. The show is a dive into Dre's life, her fandom, and how it takes her to dark, unexpected places.

Starring Dominique Fishback, the series will also feature guest stars Chlöe Bailey as Dre’s sister, Marissa and Damson Idris as Marissa’s boyfriend, Khalid. Additional guest stars include, Rickey Thompson, Paris Jackson, Rory Culkin, Kiersey Clemons, and Byron Bowers.

Swarm is set to debut on March 17th on Amazon Prime Video. Watch the official trailer below.

Moving On

Moving On is a 2022 comedy film written and directed by Paul Weitz. The film premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival on September 13, 2022. Roadside Attractions acquired North American rights to the film in late 2022, slating it for a theatrical release early 2023.

Two estranged women reunite to seek revenge against the husband of their recently deceased best friend. Along the way, they learn to make peace with the past and each other.

The cast includes Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Malcolm McDowell, Richard Roundtree, and Catherine Dent.

Wildflower

Wildflower is a 2022 coming-of-age comedy drama directed by Matt Smukler and written by Jana Savage, based on a story from Smukler and Savage. The film was inspired by Smukler's niece, and was originally intended to be a short film before being developed as a feature film. Wildflower premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2022

Bea, the daughter of two intellectually disabled parents, is left comatose during her senior year in high school as she explores various aspects of her life while dealing with an extended family that can’t quite agree on the best way to help.

The cast includes Kiernan Shipka, Dash Mihok, Charlie Plummer, Alexandra Daddario, Reid Scott, Erika Alexander, Samantha Hyde, and Jacki Weaver.

Minx

Minx is a 2022 comedy series created and written by Ellen Rapoport, most recently known for Desperados, and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Minx is Lionsgate’s fourth series at HBO Max, alongside Love Life and the upcoming Julia and the animated Santa Inc.

In 1970s Los Angeles, an earnest young feminist joins forces with a low-rent publisher to create the first erotic magazine for women.

The cast includes Ophelia Lovibond, Jake Johnson, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Idara Victor, Oscar Montoya, and Jessica Lowe.
