The Bride!

THE BRIDE! is a 2026 gothic romance crime horror film written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, who was nominated for an Academy Award for The Lost Daughter (2021). The film is inspired by the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein, directed by James Whale.

In 1930s Chicago, Frankenstein (Christian Bale) asks Dr. Euphronius (Annette Benning) to help create a companion. They give life to a murdered woman as the Bride (Jessie Buckley), sparking romance, police interest, and radical social change.

The cast includes Jessie Buckley, Christian Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Penélope Cruz.

DELI BOYS is a 2025 comedy series created by Abdullah Saeed. The series follows two Pakistani American brothers whose lives are upended after the unexpected death of their father reveals his criminal enterprise. The 10-episode series will premiere on Hulu.

When their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies, a pair of pampered Pakistani American brothers (Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh) lose everything and are forced to reckon with their Baba’s secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld.

The cast includes Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Poorna Jagannathan, Alfie Fuller, and Brian George.

Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty is a 2022 sports drama television series created by Max Borenstein and Jim Hecht for HBO, based on the book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s by Jeff Pearlman.

From Adam McKay, director of ‘The Big Short’ and ‘Vice’ comes a story about the rise of basketball Hall Of Famer Magic Johnson (Quincy Isaiah) and the lengths one man (John C. Reilly) will go in pursuit of securing a basketball dynasty.
