IT: Welcome to Derry

IT: WELCOME TO DERRY is a 2025 supernatural horror television series based on Stephen King's 1986 novel It, serving as a prequel to the films It (2017) and It Chapter Two (2019). The series was developed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs, all of whom were involved in the It films.

It will follow the events in the 1960s, the time leading up to the events of the first film in the Stephen King It series.

The cast includes Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Taylour Paige, James Remar, Stephen Rider, and Bill Skarsgård.

IT: WELCOME TO DERRY is set to debut October 26th on HBO Max, consisting of nine episodes. Watch the official trailers below.

The Good Nurse

The Good Nurse is a 2022 American crime drama film directed by Tobias Lindholm (writer of The Hunt and Another Round) and written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns (1917, Last Night in Soho), based on the 2013 book of the same name by Charles Graeber. The film stars Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game, It Chapter Two), Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything, Fantastic Beasts film series), Nnamdi Asomugha (former NFL player who recently starred in Sylvie’s Love), Kim Dickens (Gone Girl, Fear the Walking Dead), and Noah Emmerich (The Truman Show, Little Children).

Amy (Chastain), a compassionate nurse and single mother struggling with a life-threatening heart condition, is stretched to her physical and emotional limits by the hard and demanding night shifts at the ICU. But help arrives when Charlie Cullen (Redmayne), a thoughtful and empathetic fellow nurse, starts at her unit. While sharing long nights at the hospital, the two develop a strong and devoted friendship, and for the first time in years, Amy truly has faith in her and her young daughter's future. But after a series of mysterious patient deaths sets off an investigation that points to Charlie as the prime suspect, Amy is forced to risk her life and the safety of her children to uncover the truth.

The Good Nurse had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 11, 2022, and is scheduled to be released in select theaters in the United States on October 19, 2022, before its streaming release on October 26, by Netflix. Watch the official trailer below.

From director David Kerr, his feature-film debut, Johnny English Strikes Again is a sequel to the 2011 film, Johnny English Reborn, and is the third installment in the Johnny English series. The films are a spoof of the James Bond films, and follow the antics of British spy Johnny English. In this film, English (who is currently teaching at a minor prep school) is called back into action after a criminal mastermind reveals the identities of all active undercover agents in Britain. • Leading actor, Gerard Butler, sailed aboard the USS Houston (SSN 713) from May 6th to May 9th with director Donovan Marsh for research purposes. They discovered some nuances of a real operating submarine and submarine crew in an attempt to make the movie/script more realistic.

• One of Michael Nyqvist last films before his death in 2017. The 56 year-old actor, well known for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and most recently John Wick, lost his battle with lung cancer. His acting talents will be missed.

• This show takes place in the same universe as the CW series "Riverdale," which is based on the Archie comics and featured Sabrina as a character, who later received her own dark comic series.

• Kiernan Shipka will still be in her teens when the series premieres on Netflix, making her the first real-teen to play the teenage Sabrina Spellman in live-action. Melissa Joan Hart was entirely in her twenties when she starred on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (1996).
