The Creator

The Creator is a 2023 science fiction action thriller film directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) from a screenplay written by Edwards and Chris Weitz (American Pie, About a Boy), and a story from Edwards. The film stars John David Washington (Tenet, BlacKkKlansman), Gemma Chan (Eternals, Don’t Worry Darling), Ken Watanabe (Inception, Batman Begins), Sturgill Simpson (The Dead Don’t Die, The Hunt), Madeleine Yuna Voyles, and Allison Janney (10 Things I Hate About You, I, Tonya).

Amid a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua (Washington), a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife, is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war—and humankind itself.

The Creator is scheduled to be released in the United States on September 29, 2023, by 20th Century Studios. Watch the official trailer below.

Saw X

Saw X is a 2023 horror film directed by Kevin Greutert, from a screenplay by Peter Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg. It is the tenth installment in the Saw franchise, and are the events take place between the original Saw and Saw II.

Hoping for a miraculous cure, John Kramer travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure, only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer uses deranged and ingenious traps to turn the tables on the con artists.

The cast includes Tobin Bell, Shawnee Smith, Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, Michael Beach, and Renata Vaca.

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie is a 2023 computer-animated superhero comedy film directed by Cal Brunker, who co-wrote the screenplay with Bob Barlen from a story by Brunker, Barlen, and Shane Morris. Based on the television series PAW Patrol created by Keith Chapman, it is the sequel to PAW Patrol: The Movie (2021). The film features elements from the Mighty Pups sub-theme of the series.

When a magical meteor crash lands in Adventure City, it gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers, transforming them into The MIGHTY PUPS! For Skye, the smallest member of the team, her new powers are a dream come true. But things take a turn for the worse when the pups' arch-rival Humdinger breaks out of jail and teams up with a mad scientist to steal the superpowers for the two villains. With the fate of Adventure City hanging in the balance, the Mighty Pups have to stop the supervillains before it's too late, and Skye will need to learn that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference.

The voice cast includes Mckenna Grace, Taraji P. Henson, Marsai Martin, Christian Convery, Kim Kardashian, North West, Saint West, James Marsden, Kristen Bell, and Finn Lee-Epp.

The Kill Room

The Kill Room is a 2023 dark comedy action thriller directed by Nicol Paone, from a screenplay by Jonathan Jacobson.

An art dealer (Uma Thurman) who teams with a hitman (Joe Manganiello) and his boss (Samuel L. Jackson) for a money laundering scheme that accidentally turns the hitman into an overnight Avant-Garde sensation, forcing the dealer to play the art world against the underworld.

The cast includes Uma Thurman, Joe Manganiello, Maya Hawke, Debi Mazar, Dree Hemingway, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Flora and Son

Flora and Son is a 2023 coming-of-age music comedy drama film written and directed by John Carney (Begin Again). The film premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival on January 22, 2023. Irish actress Eve Lawson, the daughter of renowned U2 front man Bono, stars and performs music in the film. Star Joseph Gordon-Levitt also talked about this being his first opportunity to play guitar in an acting role, something he said has always been a passion of his. Original songs for the film come from Carney and Gary Clark, with Clark also writing the score.Clark and Carney had previously collaborated on music for film, stage and television.

Single mom Flora (Eve Hewson) is at a loss about what to do with her rebellious teenage son, Max (Orén Kinlan). Encouraged by the police to find Max a hobby, Flora tries to occupy him with a beat-up acoustic guitar. With the help of a washed-up LA musician (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Flora and Max discover the transformative power of music.

The cast includes Eve Hewson, Jack Reynor, Orén Kinlan, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Flora and Son is set to debut in select theaters September 22nd and on Apple TV+ September 29th. Watch the official trailer below.

Reptile

Reptile is a 2023 crime thriller film directed by Grant Singer in his directorial debut, who co-wrote the screenplay with Benjamin Brewer and Benicio Del Toro. The film will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 8th/

Following the brutal murder of a young real estate agent, a hardened detective attempts to uncover the truth in a case where nothing is as it seems, and, by doing so, dismantles the illusions in his own life.

The cast includes Benicio Del Toro, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Silverstone, Ato Essandoh, Michael Pitt, Francis Fisher, and Sky Ferreira.

Gen V

Gen V is an upcoming American superhero television series, developed by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke, serving as a spin-off of The Boys by Kripke, and based on The Boys comic book story arc "We Gotta Go Now" by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.

The series follows young adult superheroes, or "supes", who are tested in battle royal challenges at the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, run by none other than Vought International.

The series, set concurrently with the fourth season of The Boys, is expected to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 29, 2023. Watch the official teaser trailer below.

Dicks: The Musical is a 2023 R-rated musical comedy directed by Larry Charles (Seinfeld, Borat), from a screenplay by Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp. It is scheduled to have its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival in September 2023.

Two self-obsessed businessmen (writers Aaron Jackson & Josh Sharp) discover they’re long-lost identical twins and come together to plot the reunion of their eccentric divorced parents.

The cast includes Nathan Lane, Megan Mullally, Bowen Yang, Megan Thee Stallion, Aaron Jackson, and Josh Sharp.
