Fargo is a black comedy crime drama television series created and primarily written by Noah Hawley. The show is inspired by the 1996 cult classic film from the Coen brothers, and takes place within the same fictional universe. The brothers were impressed by Hawley's script and agreed to be named as executive producers for the series. The first season premiered back in 2014.
The latest installment of Fargo is set in Minnesota and North Dakota, 2019. After an unexpected series of events lands “Dorothy ‘Dot’ Lyon” (Juno Temple) in hot water with the authorities, this seemingly typical Midwestern housewife is suddenly plunged back into a life she thought she had left behind.
The new season stars Juno Temple, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Lamorne Morris, Joe Keery, Sam Spruell, Richa Moorjani, David Rysdahl, and Dave Foley.
Fargo: Season 5 is set to debut November 21st on FX, streaming the following day on Hulu. Watch the official trailer below.
