INSIDIOUS: OUT OF THE FURTHER is a 2026 supernatural horror thriller film directed by Jacob Chase (Come Play), from a screenplay he co-wrote with David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, and based on characters created by Leigh Whannell. Considered to be the sequel to INSIDIOUS: THE RED DOOR (our review and trailer here), it is the 6th film in the high-grossing horror franchise. Producers on the film include Jason Blum, James Wan, Leigh Whannell, and Oren Peli.
Gemma (Ameilia Eve), a young mother raising her daughter in the house she grew up in, discovers she can travel into The Further, where she possesses an ability to bring what lives there back to the real world.
The cast includes Amelia Eve, Brandon Perea, Lin Shaye, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Brandon Perea, and Laura Gordon.
