MOTOR CITY is a 2025 crime drama thriller film directed by Potsy Ponciroli (Old Henry, Greedy People), from a screenplay by Chad St. John (Peppermint, Replicas). The film had its world premiere in the Venice Spotlight section of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on August 30th, 2025.
In 1970s Detroit, John Miller (Alan Ritchson) falls for a local gangster's girl (Shailene Woodley). In retaliation, the gangster enacts a frame job to send the innocent man to prison. Life ruined, Miller plots a revenge campaign against the man who took his girl away.
The cast includes Alan Ritchson, Shailene Woodley, Ben Foster, and Pablo Schreiber.
