MURDERBOT is a 2025 science fiction action comedy television series for Apple TV+. It is based on the best-selling book series The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells.
In a high-tech future, a rogue security robot (Alexander Skarsgård) secretly gains free will. To stay hidden, it reluctantly joins a new mission protecting scientists on a dangerous planet…even though it just wants to binge soap operas.
The cast includes Alexander Skarsgård, David Dastmalchian, Noma Dumezweni, Sabrina Wu, Tattiawna Jones, Akshay Khanna, and Tamara Podemski.
