Past Lives is a 2023 romantic drama film written and directed by Celine Song, in her feature directorial debut. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 21st, 2023.
Nora and Hae Sung, two deeply connected childhood friends, are wrest apart after Nora's family emigrates from South Korea. 20 years later, they are reunited for one fateful week as they confront notions of love and destiny.
The cast includes Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, John Magaro, and Moon Seung-ah.
Past Lives is set to debut in select theaters on June 2nd before a wide release on June 23rd, courtesy of A24. Watch the official trailer below.
