Space Jam: A New Legacy is a 2021 live-action/animated sports comedy directed by Malcolm D. Lee, serving as a standalone sequel to Space Jam (1996). From producer Ryan Coogler, the film picks up where the classic 1996 film left off and paves the way for a new generation. NBA star LeBron James, playing a fictionalized version of himself, teams up with the Looney Tunes to win a basketball game against digitized champions to rescue his son from Al-G Rhythm, a rogue AI program.
The cast includes LeBron James, Don Cheadle, Cedric Joe, Sonequa Martin-Green, and a ridiculous amount of cameos from current NBA stars.
