THE HAWK is a 2026 sports comedy series created by Will Farrell for streaming service Netflix.

Lonnie Hawkins, (Will Ferrell) 2004's number one golfer, struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he's not done yet. His ex-wife and his son Lance, golf's new golden boy, know he's through. But with one more major to win to complete golf's Grand Slam, Lonnie refuses to believe he's anything other than one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history.

Evil Dead Burn

EVIL DEAD BURN is a 2026 horror thriller film directed by Sébastien Vaniček, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Florent Bernard, based on the characters from Sam Raimi.

After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. As one by one they are transformed into Deadites—turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell—she comes to discover that the vows she took in life... live on even in death.

Leviticus

LEVITICUS is a 2026 supernatural horror film written and directed by Adrian Chiarella in his directorial debut. The film premiered on January 23rd, 2026, in the Midnight Section of the Sundance Film Festival.

Set in a strict Australian town, the film follows two teenage boys, Naim and Ryan, escaping a violent entity that mimics their deepest desires.

The cast includes Joe Bird, Stacy Clausen, Jeremy Blewitt, Ewen Leslie, Davida McKenzie, Nicholas Hope, Zamira Newman, and Mia Wasikowska.

Stuart Fails to Save the Universe

STUART FAILS TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE is a 2026 science fiction comedy sitcom created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady. It will be the second direct spin-off of the sitcom, The Big Bang Theory.

Comic book store owner Stuart Bloom from The Big Bang Theory (2007) returns in a new series where he attempts - and apparently fails - to save the universe, staying true to his unlucky nature.

The cast includes Kevin Sussman, Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus, and John Ross Bowie.

THE INVITE is a 2026 comedy drama film directed by Olivia Wilde, from a screenplay by Will McCormack, Rashida Jones, and Cesc Gay.

Motor City

MOTOR CITY is a 2025 crime drama thriller film directed by Potsy Ponciroli (Old Henry, Greedy People), from a screenplay by Chad St. John (Peppermint, Replicas). The film had its world premiere in the Venice Spotlight section of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival on August 30th, 2025.

In 1970s Detroit, John Miller (Alan Ritchson) falls for a local gangster's girl (Shailene Woodley). In retaliation, the gangster enacts a frame job to send the innocent man to prison. Life ruined, Miller plots a revenge campaign against the man who took his girl away.

The cast includes Alan Ritchson, Shailene Woodley, Ben Foster, and Pablo Schreiber.

Mermaid

MERMAID is a 2025 dark comedy horror film written and directed by Tyler Cornack. The film premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 11th.

Doug (Johnny Pemberton), a troubled Florida man struggling with addiction and personal setbacks, discovers an injured mermaid and takes her home to nurse her back to health. As rumors about the creature spread, he becomes increasingly determined to protect her from those seeking to exploit or harm her.

Pinocchio: Unstrung

PINOCCHIO: UNSTRUNG is a 2026 British indie horror slasher film written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield (Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2). Described as a dark coming-of-age reimagining of the original fairytale, it is the fifth installment in The Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU).

Geppetto introduces his grandson, James, to a magical doll called Pinocchio, who develops a friendship. However, unaware of Pinocchio's naïve nature, James introduces him to the world, resulting in the doll going on a crusade to eliminate all things bad.

THE DEATH OF ROBIN HOOD is a 2026 epic adventure drama film written and directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig, A Quiet Place: Day One).

Grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder, Robin Hood (Hugh Jackman) finds himself gravely injured after a battle he thought would be his last. In the hands of a mysterious woman, he is offered a chance at salvation.

An American filmmaker (Angelina Jolie) in Paris during Fashion Week encounters women from all walks of life sparking a personal journey of self-discovery forcing her to confront the choices shaping her life.

Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma

TEENAGE SEX AND DEATH AT CAMP MIASMA is a 2026 slasher comedy film written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun. Schoenbrun, who wrote and directed the 2024 coming-of-age horror film I Saw the TV Glow (preview and trailer here), compared the concept of the film to Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019) set in a Friday the 13th sequel.

A queer filmmaker is hired to direct a new installment of a long-running slasher franchise. The director fixates on the prospect of casting the 'final girl' from the original movie, and the two women descend into a frenzy of psychosexual mania.

ATROPIA is a 2025 satire war drama satire written and directed by Hailey Gates in her feature length debut, with Luca Guadagnino serving as a producer on the project. The film had its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival on January 25th, where it won the Grand Jury Prize in the festival's U.S. Dramatic Competition despite mixed reviews.

When an aspiring actress (Alia Shawkat) in a military role-playing facility falls in love with a soldier (Callum Turner) cast as an insurgent, their unsimulated emotions threaten to derail the performance.
