HOKUM is a 2026 psychological horror thriller film written and directed by Damian Mc Carthy (Oddity). The film will premiere at the SXSW on March 14th, 2026.

When reclusive novelist Ohm Bauman (Adam Scott) retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes, the staff’s tales of an ancient witch haunting the honeymoon suite take hold of his mind. Soon, disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance draw him into a nightmarish confrontation with the darkest corners of his past.

Beef: Season 2

BEEF is a comedy drama television series created and executive produced by Lee Sung Jin, best known for the HBO comedy drama series Silicon Valley, and the FX comedy series Dave. The series is delivered by the incredible and accomplished A24 Studios, with the first season making its debut back in 2023. The first season involved a road rage incident between two strangers starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, but the newest season goes in a different direction with a similar feel.

Every couple meets their match. BEEF returns with a new cast and a new “beef,” as a Gen-Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their Millennial boss and his wife.

The cast includes Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Cailee Spaeny, Charles Melton, Youn Yuh-jung, and Song Kang-ho.

Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair

MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE: LIFE’S STILL UNFAIR IS A 2026 television sitcom miniseries created by Linwood Boomer for the streaming service Hulu. It is a revival of Malcolm in the Middle (2000–2006), produced by Satin City Productions, Regency Television, and 20th Television.

After shielding himself from his family for over a decade, Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) is dragged back into their orbit when Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.

The Mummy

THE MUMMY is a 2026 horror thriller film written and directed by Lee Cronin, and produced by James Wan, Jason Blum and John Keville. The executive producers are Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Macdara Kelleher, and Cronin. The film is described as a twisted re-telling of the popular franchise.

The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace—eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.

The cast includes Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, with Veronica Falcón.

Mortal Kombat II

MORTAL KOMBAT II IS A 2026 martial arts action adventure film directed by Simon McQuoid, from a screenplay by Jeremy Slater, based on the videogame created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. The film is a direct follow-up to the 2001 film Mortal Kombat, also directed by McQuaid. The film is produced by Todd Garner, James Wan, Toby Emmerich, E. Bennett Walsh and McQuoid, and executive produced by Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Slater and Lawrence Kasanoff.

The fan favorite champions -- now joined by Johnny Cage himself -- are pitted against one another in the ultimate battle to defeat the dark rule of Shao Kahn that threatens the very existence of the Earthrealm and its defenders.

AMERICANA is a 2023 dark comedy crime drama film written and directed by Tony Yost. The film had its world premiere at the South by Southwest film festival on March 17th, 2023.

The lives of local outsiders and outcasts violently intertwine when a rare Lakota Ghost shirt falls onto the black market in a small South Dakota town.

THE DRAMA is a 2026 romantic comedy drama film written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli (Sick of Myself, Dream Scenario).

Days before their wedding, a couple's (Zendaya and Robert Pattinson) relationship is shaken when one partner discovers unsettling truths about the other.

Mother Mary

MOTHER MARY is a 2026 music drama film from visionary director David Lowery, who also wrote the screenplay for the film. A few of Lowery’s previous films include Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, The Old Man & the Gun, and The Green Knight. Lowery himself described it as a “weird, weird film” that is partly inspired by Francis Ford Coppola’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The film features new music from artist Charli xcx.

Obsession

OBSESSION is a 2026 psychological folk-horror film written and directed by Curry Barker (The Chair). Jason Blum of Blumhouse serves as an executive producer on the film. Barker was inspired to write the film while watching an episode of The Simpsons where Bart gets a monkey paw and causes a bunch of chaos. The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival on September 5th, 2025 as part of its Midnight Madness block.

After breaking the mysterious “One Wish Willow” to win his crush’s heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.

The cast includes Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless, and Andy Richter.

MICHAEL is a 2026 music drama biography film directed by Antoine Fuqua, from a screenplay by John Logan.

Backrooms

BACKROOMS is a 2026 science fiction horror film, directed by Kane Parsons in his feature directorial debut, from a screenplay by Roberto Patino and Will Soodik. It is based on the urban legend and creepypasta of the same name that was made into Parsons' YouTube series Backrooms.

A series of disturbing home videos captures supernatural events that terrorize their witnesses.

The cast includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, Lukita Maxwell and Avan Jogia.

The Devil Wears Prada 2

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2 is a 2026 comedy drama film directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, based on the 2013 novel Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns by Lauren Weisberger. The film is a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada (2006).

Andy (Anne Hathaway) returns to Runway as Miranda (Meryl Streep) navigates a new media landscape and Runway's position within it. They reconnect with another former assistant, Emily (Emily Blunt), who is now the head of a luxury brand that possesses commercial money that could mean Runway's survival.

Pinocchio: Unstrung

PINOCCHIO: UNSTRUNG is a 2026 British indie horror slasher film written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield (Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 & 2). Described as a dark coming-of-age reimagining of the original fairytale, it is the fifth installment in The Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU).

Geppetto introduces his grandson, James, to a magical doll called Pinocchio, who develops a friendship. However, unaware of Pinocchio's naïve nature, James introduces him to the world, resulting in the doll going on a crusade to eliminate all things bad.

Omaha

OMAHA is a 2026 coming-of-age drama film directed by Cole Webley, from a screenplay by Robert Machoian. The film made its world premiere on January 23rd, 2025, at the Sundance Film Festival as an entry in the U.S. Dramatic Competition category.

A young girl and her brother are awoken by their father (John Magaro) and loaded into the car on an early morning in 2008. As they road trip across the American West, she discovers the truth about their seemingly spontaneous journey.

The cast includes John Magaro (Past Lives), Molly Belle Wright, Wyatt Solis, Talia Balsam, and Christina Cooper.

The Mandalorian and Grogu

THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU, also known as STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU, is a 2026 sci-fi action adventure film directed by Jon Favreau and co-written by Favreau and Dave Filoni. Produced by Lucasfilm and set to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is part of the Star Wars franchise and a continuation of the Disney+ television series The Mandalorian (2019–2023).

Atropia

ATROPIA is a 2025 satire war drama satire written and directed by Hailey Gates in her feature length debut, with Luca Guadagnino serving as a producer on the project. The film had its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival on January 25th, where it won the Grand Jury Prize in the festival's U.S. Dramatic Competition despite mixed reviews.

When an aspiring actress (Alia Shawkat) in a military role-playing facility falls in love with a soldier (Callum Turner) cast as an insurgent, their unsimulated emotions threaten to derail the performance.

THE CHRISTOPHERS is a 2025 comedy drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Ed Solomon. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7th, 2025.

Julian Sklar (Ian McKellen) was once a star of London’s 1960’s and 70’s pop art explosion, but he hasn’t painted in decades and has been broke for years. His two estranged children (James Corden, Jessica Gunning), desperate for an inheritance, hire Lori, an art restorer and former forger (Michaela Coel), to pose as a prospective assistant in order to access 8 unfinished canvases Julian has buried deep in storage. Her plan is to complete them, then return them to storage, where they are to be “discovered” upon Julian’s death.

Normal

NORMAL is a 2025 crime thriller film directed by Ben Wheatley (Free Fire), from a screenplay by Derek Kolstad (John Wick, Nobody), based on a story from Kolstad and Bob Odenkirk. The film was selected for the Midnight Madness program at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, premiering September 7th, 2025.

For Sheriff Ulysses (Bob Odenkirk), his provisional posting to the quaint Midwestern American town of Normal was meant to be a welcome respite from both his marital woes and recent moral injuries in the line of duty. But when a botched bank robbery interrupts the municipality’s tranquil pace, a sordid secret is inadvertently exposed and Ulysses learns that the town is anything but its namesake.
