The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE is a 2026 animated adventure comedy film directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, from a screenplay written by Matthew Fogel. The film is based on the 2007 video game Super Mario Galaxy and Nintendo's broader Mario franchise and is the sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023). The film is being produced by Illumination and Nintendo.

After defeating Bowser and saving Brooklyn, Mario faces Wario and Bowser Jr.'s evil alliance. Now, alongside his friends and Yoshi, he must stop their plans for world domination.

The cast of voice actors includes Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Kevin Michael Richardson, Benny Safdie, and Brie Larson

Project Hail Mary

PROJECT HAIL MARY is a 2026 science fiction adventure film produced and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, from a screenplay by Drew Goddard. The film is based on the 2021 New York Times best-selling novel of the same name by Andy Weir (The Martian).

Astronaut Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) awakens on a spacecraft with no memory of himself or his mission. He slowly deduces he is the sole survivor of a crew sent to the Tau Ceti solar system in search of a solution to a catastrophic event on Earth. In his search for answers, Grace must rely on his vast array of scientific knowledge, sheer ingenuity, and human will – but he may not have to search alone.

The cast includes Ryan Gosling, Sandra Hüller, and Milana Vayntrub.

Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair

MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE: LIFE’S STILL UNFAIR IS A 2026 television sitcom miniseries created by Linwood Boomer for the streaming service Hulu. It is a revival of Malcolm in the Middle (2000–2006), produced by Satin City Productions, Regency Television, and 20th Television.

After shielding himself from his family for over a decade, Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) is dragged back into their orbit when Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.

The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace—eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.

The cast includes Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, with Veronica Falcón.

The Bride!

THE BRIDE! is a 2026 gothic romance crime horror film written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, who was nominated for an Academy Award for The Lost Daughter (2021). The film is inspired by the 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein, directed by James Whale.

In 1930s Chicago, Frankenstein (Christian Bale) asks Dr. Euphronius (Annette Benning) to help create a companion. They give life to a murdered woman as the Bride (Jessie Buckley), sparking romance, police interest, and radical social change.

The cast includes Jessie Buckley, Christian Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Penélope Cruz.

MOTHER MARY is a 2026 music drama film from visionary director David Lowery, who also wrote the screenplay for the film. A few of Lowery’s previous films include Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, The Old Man & the Gun, and The Green Knight. Lowery himself described it as a “weird, weird film” that is partly inspired by Francis Ford Coppola’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The film features new music from artist Charli xcx.

An epic exploration of the psychosexual affair between a pop singer (Anne Hathaway) and her estranged famous fashion designer (Michaela Coel).

Obsession

OBSESSION is a 2026 psychological folk-horror film written and directed by Curry Barker (The Chair). Jason Blum of Blumhouse serves as an executive producer on the film. Barker was inspired to write the film while watching an episode of The Simpsons where Bart gets a monkey paw and causes a bunch of chaos. The film premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival on September 5th, 2025 as part of its Midnight Madness block.

After breaking the mysterious “One Wish Willow” to win his crush’s heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.

The cast includes Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless, and Andy Richter.
