Exhibiting Forgiveness

EXHIBITING FORGIVENESS is a 2024 independent drama film written and directed by Titus Kaphar. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2024.

Tarrell (André Holland) is an admired American painter who lives with his wife, singer Aisha (Andra Day), and their young son, Jermaine. Tarrell’s artwork excavates beauty from the anguish of his youth, keeping past wounds at bay. His path to success is derailed by an unexpected visit from his estranged father, La’Ron (John Earl Jelks), a conscience-stricken man desperate to reconcile.

The cast includes André Holland, Andra Day, John Earl Jelks, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor.

IS THIS THING ON? is a 2025 comedy drama film directed by Bradley Cooper, from a screenplay Cooper co-wrote with Will Arnett and Marki Chappell. Bradley Cooper and Will Arnett also serve as producers alongside Weston Middleton and Kris Thykier. The film had its world premiere as the closing film of the 2025 New York Film Festival on October 10th.

As their marriage quietly unravels, Alex (Will Arnett) faces middle age and an impending divorce, seeking new purpose in the New York comedy scene while Tess (Laura Dern) confronts the sacrifices she made for their family—forcing them to navigate co-parenting, identity, and whether love can take a new form.

The cast includes Will Arnett, Laura Dern, Andra Day, Bradley Cooper, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, and Scott Icenogle.

ATROPIA is a 2025 satire war drama satire written and directed by Hailey Gates in her feature length debut, with Luca Guadagnino serving as a producer on the project. The film had its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival on January 25th, where it won the Grand Jury Prize in the festival's U.S. Dramatic Competition despite mixed reviews.

When an aspiring actress (Alia Shawkat) in a military role-playing facility falls in love with a soldier (Callum Turner) cast as an insurgent, their unsimulated emotions threaten to derail the performance.

URCHIN is a 2025 British drama film written and directed by Harris Dickinson, in his feature-length directorial debut. The film had its world premiere at the Un Certain Regard section of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on May 17th, 2025, where Dickinson won the FIPRESCI Prize and Dillane won the section's Best Actor award.

Michael barely scrapes by, surviving at the very edge of society in a world that is brutal and indifferent. After a tense incident lands him in prison, he tries to piece his life back together — entering rehab, looking for work, and attempting to reconnect with people.
