THE ODYSSEY is a 2026 epic action fantasy film written and directed by Christopher Nolan, and is an adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic the Odyssey. With an estimated budget of $250 million, the film is the most expensive of Nolan's career and his first to be shot entirely on IMAX's 70 mm film cameras.
After the Trojan War, Odysseus (Matt Damon) faces a dangerous voyage back to Ithaca, meeting creatures like the Cyclops Polyphemus, Sirens, and Circe along the way.
The cast includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway (Penelope), Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Zendaya, and Mia Goth.
