THE STUNT DRIVER is a 2026 biography comedy drama film written and directed by Michael Dowse. Set in the 1970’s, it tells the true story of Canadian stunt driver Ken Carter.
The true underdog story of Canada’s Ken Carter, the world champion stunt driver who battles personal demons and public doubt in the 1970’s to attempt what everyone considers impossible – a mile-long jump across the St. Lawrence river in a rocket car.
The cast includes Jay Baruchel, Laurence Leboeuf, Dan Bakkedahl, Ben Foster, and Ed Helms.
