THUNDERBOLTS* is a 2025 superhero film directed by Jake Schreier and written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo, based on the Marvel Comics team Thunderbolts. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is set to be the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap, an unconventional team of antiheroes must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.
The cast includes Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman, and Olga Kurylenko.
