Directed by Adam Wingard, the man behind other successful horror thrillers including V/H/S 1 & 2, You're Next, and The Guest, Blair Witch looks to be somewhat of a re-imagining of the highly successful 1999 sleeper hit The Blair Witch Project, which was made with pennies (not literally but close) and grossed over 47 million dollars. Initially titled The Woods, at Comic Con it was revealed that the film would be the 3rd installment of the Blair Witch films. The cast includes Corbin Reid, Wes Robinson, Volerie Curry, and Callie Hernandez. In a time where people are overly skeptical of sequels for good reason, I am unsure as to what I should be expecting from Blair Witch. On the plus side the trailer looks very intriguing, check out the initial teaser trailer as well as the trailer released at Comic Con below.
