From director Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows, Hunt for the Wilderpeople), Thor: Ragnarok is the highly anticipated film revolving around one of Marvel's biggest heroes. The newest trailer looks absolutely amazing, and I love that Taika Waititi is behind the camera for this film. A Bad Mom's Christmas

June 4, 2016

Director Jon Lucas, Scott Moore

Genre Comedy

Cast Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Christine Baranski

Rating R

Release Date November 1st, 2017

“Amy, Carla and Kiki struggle to cope when their respective mothers visit for the holidays”

The Bad Mom's are BACK!! Directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, who also wrote the scripts for both films, return to the helm for the sequel that promises more of the raunchy humor found in the original. Bad Mom's was well received by critics, and bringing back the same directors/writers as well as the same talented cast to me seems like a recipe for success, although sequels do have an uphill battle matching the bar of the previous film. The cast includes Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, and Christine Baranski. Check out the newly released unrated trailer below!!

Ted Takes Fun Facts, A Bad Mom's Christmas:

  • This is Mila Kunis's first ever sequel.

Call of Duty: WWII

June 4, 2016

Developer Activision

Genre Action | War

Rating Mature

Formats PS4 | Xbox One | PC

Release Date November 3rd, 2017

“Land in Normandy on D-Day and battle across Europe through iconic locations in history’s most monumental war. Experience classic Call of Duty combat, the bonds of camaraderie, and the unforgiving nature of war against a global power throwing the world into tyranny.”

Call of Duty is one of the most popular video game franchises ever and continues to dominate the market with each and every release. I am a big fan of the COD games, specifically the online component, but my interest shifted when they started doing the futuristic games. I turned my attention to the latest release from the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 1, which has held my attention pretty well overall. The difference between the two is that COD is much more of an arcade feel as it is more fast paced and also has more customization options which I love. Call of Duty: WWII is bringing back the old school feel and it looks like it will be INCREDIBLE! The game releases on Friday November 3rd, check out a few trailers below!!

Jigsaw

June 3, 2016

Director Michael Spierig, Peter Spierig

Genre Horror | Thriller

Cast Tobin Bell, Laura Vandervoort, Callum Keith Rennie, Matt Passmore

Rating R

Release Date October 27th, 2017

“Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one suspect: John Kramer, the man known as Jigsaw, who has been dead for ten years.”

From directors Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig, the brothers responsible for Daybreakers and Predestination (which is under the radar but really good), Jigsaw is the latest and seemingly final entry in the Saw franchise of torture horror films, although the potential for a series reboot has been discussed. I feel like fans of the franchise were on the fence about a sequel, primarily due to concern over a terrible movie leaving a bad taste in their mouths which is certainly understandable. I'm not the biggest fan of the Saw movies but I have enjoyed them, and if the trailer is any indication, this one could be pretty good! The cast includes Tobin Bell, Laura Vandervoort, Callum Keith Rennie, and Matt Passmore. Check out the exclusive new trailer below!!
