Pig is a 2021 drama thriller from director Michael Sarnoski, who co-wrotee the film with Vanessa Block. It tells the story of a truffle hunter who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness but is forced to return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved foraging pig after she is kidnapped.

The cast includes Nicolas Cage, Alex Wolff, Adam Arkin, and Nina Belforte.

National Champions

National Champions is a 2021 sports drama film directed by Ric Roman Waugh. Stunt coordinator turned director, Waugh previously directed Shot Caller, Angel Has Fallen, and Greenland. The film is written by Adam Mervis, and based on his play of the same name.

Three days before the college football national championship game, star quarterback LeMarcus James (Stephan James) and teammate Emmett Sunday (Alexander Ludwig) ignite a player’s strike declaring they won’t compete until all student-athletes are fairly compensated. With billions of dollars at risk and legacies on the line, the stakes could not be higher. Now, with only hours until kickoff, the head coach (J.K. Simmons) and various power brokers (Lil Rel Howery, Tim Blake Nelson, Andrew Bachelor, Jeffrey Donovan, David Koechner, Kristin Chenoweth, Timothy Olyphant, Uzo Aduba) must race against the clock to protect or destroy the prevailing collegiate athletics system.

Julie Davis writes bestselling children's books about unlocking your fears, but has yet to unlock her own. When her daughter is born, that trauma is brought to the fore, and with it, a crushing battle to survive.

The cast includes Amanda Seyfried, Finn Wittrock, Jennifer Carpenter, Michael Gaston, Amy Irving and Paul Giamatti.

A Mouthful of Air is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 29th, by Stage 6 Films.

The Sundance drama Monster, directed by Anthony Mandler, is based on the 1999 young adult novel of the same name by Walter Dean Myers, which received many awards, including the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature. Originally premiering at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, Monster was first picked up by Entertainment Studios before Netflix nabbed the rights late last year and added it to their promise of a new movie every week in 2021.

Naked Singularity

Naked Singularity is a 2021 comedy drama, directed by Chase Palmer in his directorial debut, from a screenplay by Palmer and David Matthews. It is based on the 2008 novel of the same name by Sergio De La Pava.

It tells the story of Casi (John Boyega), a promising young NYC public defender whose idealism is beginning to crack under the daily injustices of the very justice system he’s trying to make right. Doubting all he has worked for and seeing signs of the universe collapsing all around him, he is pulled into a dangerous high-stakes drug heist by an unpredictable former client (Olivia Cooke) in an effort to beat the broken system at its own game

The full cast includes John Boyega, Olivia Cooke, Bill Skarsgård, Ed Skrein, Linda Lavin, and Tim Blake Nelson. The film had its world premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival, on April 9th, 2021.
