Speak No Evil

SPEAK NO EVIL is a 2024 psychological horror thriller film written and directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake, The Woman in Black), and is a remake of the 2022 Danish film of the same name. Jason Blum serves as a producer through his Blumhouse Productions banner.

When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.

The cast includes James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler, Dan Hough, and Scoot McNairy.

The Killer's Game

THE KILLER’S GAME is a 2024 action comedy film directed by J. J. Perry and written by Rand Ravich and James Coyne, based on the 1997 novel of the same name by Jay Bonansinga. The film has been in various stages of development since back in the mid-90’s but is finally making it’s way to theaters.

A veteran assassin is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and authorizes a kill on himself. After ordering the kill, an army of former colleagues pounce and a new piece of information comes to light. Insanity ensues.

The cast includes Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Pom Klementieff, Ben Kingsley, Scott Adkins, and Drew McIntyre.

Tulsa King: Season 2

TULSA KING is a crime drama series from creator Taylor Sheridan, the creative mind behind recent hit shows like Yellowstone and Mayor of Kingstown. The series, which originally premiered in 2022 with the first season, is executive-produced by Sheridan, Terence Winter, Sylvester Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, and Allen Coulter.

Dwight and his crew continue to build up and defend their growing empire in Tulsa, but just as they get their bearings, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake their claim. With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs. Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a 2024 fantasy comedy horror film directed by Oscar-nominated visionary Tim Burton, from a screenplay by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Wednesday), story by Gough and Millar and Seth Grahame-Smith (The LEGO® Batman Movie), based on characters created by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson. The film is the follow-up to the 1988 genre-defining cult classic film that was really an artistic springboard for Burton who would go on to direct Batman (1988), Edward Scissorhands (1990), and Batman Returns (1992).

Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it's only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice's name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.

Keaton returns to his iconic role alongside Oscar nominee Winona Ryder (Stranger Things, Little Women) as Lydia Deetz and two-time Emmy winner Catherine O’Hara (Schitt$ Creek, The Nightmare Before Christmas) as Delia Deetz, with new cast members Justin Theroux (Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi, The Leftovers), Monica Bellucci (Spectre, The Matrix films), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon) in his feature film debut, with Emmy nominee Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream VI) as Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, and Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (Poor Things, At Eternity’s Gate).

The Front Room

THE FRONT ROOM is a 2024 psychological horror film written and directed by Max and Sam Eggers, otherwise known as the Eggers Brothers, in their feature film debut. The film is based on the 2016 short story of the same name by Susan Hill. Max and Sam have collaborated with their brother Robert Eggers, the talented director behind The Witch (our full review here), The Lighthouse, and The Northman. Max actually co-wrote the screenplay for The Lighthouse with Robert.

A young, newly pregnant couple is forced to take in an ailing stepmother who has long been estranged from the family.

The cast includes Brandy, Kathryn Hunter, Andrew Burnap, Neal Huff, and Toree Hill.

The Perfect Couple

THE PERFECT COUPLE is a 2024 Netflix Original mystery drama television series based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Elin Hilderbrand.

Amelia Sacks is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season - until a body turns up on the beach. As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.

The cast includes Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy, Eve Hewson, Dakota Fanning, Ishaan Khattar, Billy Howle, and Jack Reynor.

FIGHT NIGHT: THE MILLION DOLLAR HEIST is a 2024 crime drama series based on the acclaimed iHeart true-crime podcast.

The infamous story of how an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man’s life but ultimately transformed Atlanta into the “Black Mecca.” When a hustler named Chicken Man (Kevin Hart) hosts an afterparty to celebrate the fight with a guest list of the country’s wealthiest, the night ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta’s history. Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is hellbent on clearing his name but must convince his old adversary, J.D. Hudson (Don Cheadle), one of the first Black detectives in the city’s desegregated police force, who is tasked with bringing those responsible to justice.

Rebel Ridge

REBEL RIDGE is a 2024 action thriller film written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier (Blue Ruin, Green Room). The project suffered significant delays due the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as casting issues including actor John Boyega backing out citing family reasons.

A former Marine grapples his way through a web of small-town corruption when an attempt to post bail for his cousin escalates into a violent standoff with the local police chief. He didn’t start this fight, but he will finish it.

The cast includes Aaron Pierre, Don Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, David Denman, Emory Cohen, and Steve Zissis.

REAGAN is a 2024 biographical drama film directed by Sean McNamara and written by Howard Klausner and Jonas McCord, based on Paul Kengor's 2006 book The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism.

From the glitter of Hollywood to the world stage, Ronald Reagan overcomes the odds to become the 40th president of the United States.

The cast includes Dennis Quaid as Ronald Reagan. Penelope Ann Miller, Robert Davi, Lesley-Anne Down, and Jon Voight.

AFRAID is a 2024 horror thriller film written and directed by Chris Weitz (The Creator). Jason Blum and Weitz produce through their Blumhouse Productions and Depth of Field banners, alongside Andrew Miano.

Curtis (John Cho) and his family are selected to test a revolutionary new home device: a digital family assistant called AIA. Taking smart home to the next level, once the unit and all its sensors and cameras are installed in their home, AIA seems able to do it all. She learns the family's behaviors and begins to anticipate their needs. And she can make sure nothing – and no one – gets in her family’s way.

The cast includes John Cho, Katherine Waterston, Havana Rose Liu, Lukita Maxwell, David Dastmalchian, and Keith Carradine.

YOU GOTTA BELIEVE is a 2024 family sports film directed by Ty Roberts, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Lane Garrison.

Based on the inspiring true story: after dedicating the season to a teammate’s ailing father, a group of underdogs from Fort Worth, Texas, takes its Cinderella run all the way to a record-breaking showdown in the Little League World Series.

The cast includes Luke Wilson, Greg Kinnear, Sarah Gadon, Lew Temple, Michael Cash, Etienne Kellici, and Molly Parker.

The Deliverance

The Deliverance is a 2024 supernatural horror thriller film from director Lee Daniels (Precious, The Paperboy), from a screenplay he co-wrote with David Coggeshall and Elijah Bynum. The film is based on the actual events involving the Latoya Ammons family possession. In January 2022 Netflix won a bidding war over the film rights in a deal said to be worth upward of $65 million, a big number for the streaming giant.

A family living in a home in Indiana discover strange, demonic occurrences that convince them and the community that the house is a portal to hell.

The cast includes Andra Day, Glenn Close, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Mo’Nique, Caleb McLaughlin, Demi Singleton, Anthony B. Jenkins, Rob Morgan, and Omar Epps.

Only Murders in the Building: Season 4

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING is a mystery comedy drama series created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman. Premiering with the first season in 2021, the series focuses on three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez) with a shared interest in true crime podcasts who happen to live in the same building. The trio become friends while investigating a string of highly suspicious murders that take place in their affluent NYC Upper West Side apartment building.

In Season 4, Charles, Oliver and Mabel are whisked to Los Angeles where a legendary film studio intends to adapt their podcast; Hollywood's glitz is overshadowed by a stunning clue about Charles' stunt double and friend, Sazz Pataki.

Nothing is what it seems when a twisted one-night stand spirals into a serial killer’s vicious murder spree.

The Crow

THE CROW is a 2024 action crime thriller film directed by James Sanders, from a screenplay by Zach Baylin and William Josef Schneider, based on a graphic novel from James O’Barr. The film is a remake of the iconic and controversial 1994 film which tragically claimed the life of actor Brandon Lee, the son of legendary actor and Martial Artist Bruce Lee, due to an on-set incident. Needless to say conspiracy theorists had a field day talking about what “really” happened that fateful day, but the only thing we know for sure is that movie took the life of Brandon Lee.

Soulmates Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

The cast includes Bill Skarsgård, FKA twigs, Danny Huston, Laura Birn, Isabella Wei, and David Bowles.

Blink Twice

Blink Twice is a 2024 psychological black comedy thriller film directed by Zoë Kravitz, in her directorial debut, from a screenplay she co-wrote with E.T. Feigenbaum. Kravitz began writing the screenplay under the original working title Pussy Island in 2017.

When tech billionaire Slater King meets Frida, he invites her to join him and his friends for a dream vacation on his private island. However, as strange things start to happen, she'll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out alive.

The cast includes Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Kyle MacLachlan, Alia Shawkat, Christian Slater, and Geena Davis.

Alien: Romulus

Alien: Romulus is a 2024 science fiction horror film directed by Fede Álvarez, who co-wrote it with Rodo Sayagues. The film is produced by Scott Free Productions and Brandywine Productions. The seventh installment in the Alien franchise, the film takes place between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986).

While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe.

The cast includes Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu.

Bad Monkey

Bad Monkey is a 2024 drama television series developed and executive produced by Bill Lawrence. A co-production between Warner Bros. Television, Two Soups Productions and Doozer Productions, it is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Carl Hiaasen.

After getting bounced from the Miami PD, a former detective (Vince Vaughn) is demoted to restaurant inspector in the Florida Keys. An unusual new case might get him back in the department if he can get past a trove of oddballs, and one bad monkey.
