GOODRICH is a 2024 comedy drama film written and directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer.

Andy Goodrich’s (Michael Keaton) life is upended when his wife and mother of their nine-year-old twins enters a 90-day rehab program, leaving him on his own with their young kids. Thrust into the world of modern parenthood, Goodrich leans on his daughter from his first marriage, Grace (Mila Kunis), as he ultimately evolves into the father Grace never had.

Woman of the Hour

WOMAN OF THE HOUR is a 2024 true crime thriller film directed by Anna Kendrick in her directorial debut, and written by Ian MacAllister McDonald. It is based on the life of serial killer Rodney Alcala, who in 1978 appeared on the television show The Dating Game in the midst of his murder spree.

In 1978, serial killer Rodney Alcala appeared on The Dating Game and won a date with bachelorette Cheryl Bradshaw (Anna Kendrick). At the time, Alcala had murdered five women, and his strange facade during the episode later nicknamed him "The Dating Game Killer".

The cast includes Anna Kendrick, Daniel Zovatto, Nicolette Robinson, Tony Hale, Kathryn Gallagher, and Peter Holmes.

Shrinking: Season 2

SHRINKING is a comedy drama television series created by Brett Goldstein, Bill Lawrence and Jason Segel. The first season made its debut in 2023 and received rave reviews.

A grieving therapist (Jason Segal) starts to break the rules by telling his clients exactly what he thinks. Jimmy has lost his wife and wants to try a new approach to his loss, but it is unclear how this will help others.

Shrinking stars Emmy-Award nominee Jason Segel and Multi-Award winner Harrison Ford, and was created by Emmy Award winners Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso) and Segel. Additional stars include Emmy-Award nominee Christa Miller, Emmy-Award nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley.

Two criminal twin brothers (Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage), one trying to reform, embark on a dangerous heist road trip. Facing legal troubles, gunfights, and family drama, they must reconcile their differences before their mission leads to self-destruction.

SATURDAY NIGHT is a 2024 biographical comedy thriller film directed by Jason Reitman from a script he co-wrote with Gil Kenan, both also co-producing it alongside Jason Blumenfeld and Peter Rice. Set in 1975, its plot chronicles the events leading to the premiere of NBC's Saturday Night, later known as Saturday Night Live.

Terrifier 3

TERRIFIER 3 is a 2024 Christmas slasher film written and directed by Damien Leone. It stars Lauren LaVera, Elliott Fullam, David Howard Thornton, and Samantha Scaffidi, who reprise their roles from prior films. The film is a sequel to Terrifier 2 (2022), and is the fourth feature-length film to include the Art the Clown character.

Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) is set to unleash another round of chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.

The Apprentice

THE APPRENTICE is a 2024 biographical historical drama film directed by Ali Abbasi and written by Gabriel Sherman. The film had its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2024, and is scheduled for an October 11 release in the United States.

A young Donald Trump (Sebastian Stan), eager to make his name as a hungry second son of a wealthy family in 1970s New York, comes under the spell of Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong), the cutthroat attorney who would help create the Donald Trump we know today. Cohn sees in Trump the perfect protégé—someone with raw ambition, a hunger for success, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to win.

The cast includes Sebastian Stan, Jeremy Strong, Maria Bakalova, Martin Donovan, Charlie Carrick, Mark Rendall, and Joe Pingue.

Piece by Piece

PIECE BY PIECE is a 2024 animated biographical film co-produced and directed by Morgan Neville. It follows the life and career of American singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams, who stars in the film, through the lens of Lego animation. Produced by The Lego Group, Tremolo Productions, Williams' I Am Other, Pure Imagination Studios and Tongal, Piece by Piece will mark the fifth theatrical Lego-based film and the first under Universal Pictures's run of their film rights.

Alongside Williams and Neville, the film stars the voices of Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and Snoop Dogg.

Joker: Folie à Deux

Joker: Folie à Deux (or Joker 2) is a 2024 musical psychological thriller film directed by Todd Phillips, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver, and is the direct sequel to the 2019 film Joker. The film is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios in association with Joint Effort.

Joker was initially conceived as a standalone film, although Warner Bros. intended for it to launch a DC Black film series. By August 2019, Phillips had expressed interest in making a sequel, although he reiterated that Joker was not set up to have one. Phoenix hinted about reprising his role in October 2019. A sequel officially entered development in June 2022, with Gaga and Beetz joining later that year. Principal photography took place in Los Angeles, New York City, and Belleville, New Jersey, from December 2022 to April 2023.

The cast includes Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Zazie Beetz, Steve Coogan, Brendan Gleeson, and Catherine Keener.

SALEM’S LOT is a 2024 supernatural horror film written and directed by Gary Dauberman, based on Stephen King's 1975 novel of the same name. Produced by New Line Cinema, Atomic Monster, The Wolper Organization, and Vertigo Entertainment. The film is scheduled to premiere as the opening film at the Beyond Fest on September 25, 2024.

Ben Mears is a writer who returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem's Lot in search of inspiration, only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a vampire, leading him to band together with a ragtag group to fight it.

The cast includes Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Pilou Asbæk, Alfre Woodard, and William Sadler.

In this fresh coming-of-age story, an 18th birthday mushroom trip brings free-spirited Elliott (Maisy Stella) face-to-face with her wisecracking 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza). But when Elliott’s “old ass” starts handing out warnings about what her younger self should and shouldn’t do, Elliott realizes she has to rethink everything about family, love, and what’s becoming a transformative summer.

A group of friends gather for a pre-wedding party that descends into an existential nightmare when an estranged friend arrives with a mysterious game that awakens long-hidden secrets, desires, and grudges.

The Outrun

The Outrun is a 2024 drama film directed by Nora Fingscheidt from a screenplay she co-wrote with Amy Liptrot, and a story the two co-wrote with Daisy Lewis, based on the 2016 memoir of the same name by Liptrot. A co-production between the United Kingdom and Germany, the film premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival on January 19th, 2024.

After more than a decade of living life on the edge in London, where she both found and lost love, Rona (Saoirse Ronan) – now 30 – attempts to come to terms with her troubled past. As she reconnects with the dramatic landscape where she grew up, memories of her traumatic childhood merge with more recent challenging events that have set her on the path to recovery.

White Bird

White Bird: A Wonder Story is a 2023 coming-of-age war drama film from director Marc Forster (Finding Neverland, Christopher Robin) and screenwriter Mark Bomback, and based on R.J. Palacio’s book, White Bird: A Wonder Story, the follow-up to the uplifting book-turned-film Wonder (2017).

Julian has struggled to belong ever since he was expelled from his former school for his treatment of Auggie Pullman. To transform his life, Julian’s grandmother (Helen Mirren) finally reveals to Julian her own story of courage — during her youth in Nazi-occupied France, a boy shelters her from mortal danger. They find first love in a stunning, magical world of their own creation, while the boy’s mother (Gillian Anderson) risks everything to keep her safe.

The Wild Robot

THW WILD ROBOT is a 2024 animated science-fiction adventure film based on the award-winning book series of the same name by Peter Brown, produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. The film was written and directed by three-time Oscar® nominee Chris Sanders—the writer-director of DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon, The Croods, and Disney’s Lilo & Stitch—and is produced by Jeff Hermann (DreamWorks Animation’s The Boss Baby 2: Family Business; co-producer, Kung Fu Panda franchise). 

After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot called Roz (voiced by Lupita Nyong'o) is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island's animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose.

Megalopolis

MEGALOPOLIS is a 2024 epic science fiction drama film written, directed, and produced by Francis Ford Coppola. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 16, 2024.

A longtime passion project for Coppola, who first conceived the idea for the film in 1977 and actively started developing it in 1983, Megalopolis underwent significant delays and numerous cancellations over the years. Coppola revived the project in 2019 by spending $120 million of his own money on the film. Filming took place from November 2022 to March 2023. The film is Coppola's first directorial effort since Twixt (2011), marking his longest gap between films.

An accident destroys a decaying New York City-like metropolis. Cesar Catilina, an idealist architect with the power to control time, aims to rebuild the city as a sustainable utopia, but is opposed by corrupt mayor Franklyn Cicero, who remains committed to a regressive status quo. Torn between them is Franklyn's socialite daughter, Julia, who, tired of the influence she inherited, searches for her life's meaning.

The cast includes Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight, Jason Schwartzman, Talia Shire, Grace VanderWaal, Laurence Fishburne, Kathryn Hunter, and Dustin Hoffman.

Azrael

AZRAEL is a 2024 post-apocalyptic action horror thriller film directed by E.L. Katz and written by Simon Barrett. It premiered at the 2024 South by Southwest festival on March 9th, 2024.

Many years following the apocalypse, a devout cult of mute zealots hunts down Azrael (Samara Weaving), a young woman who escaped her own imprisonment- and she will stop at nothing to ensure her own survival.
