The North American premiere followed at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival on September 10th, 2024.

The Fire Inside

THE FIRE INSIDE is a 2024 biographical sports drama film directed by Rachel Morrison in her feature directorial debut, from a screenplay by Richard Jenkins. The film premiered in the Special Presentations section of the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7th, 2024.

The story of Claressa 'T-Rex' Shields, a boxer from Flint, Michigan who trained to become the first woman in her country's history to win an Olympic gold medal in the sport.

Squid Game: Season 2

SQUID GAME is a South Korean dystopian survival thriller horror television series created, written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk for Netflix. The series revolves around a secret contest where 456 players, all of whom are in deep financial hardship, risk their lives to play a series of deadly children's games for the chance to win a significant cash prize.

Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 gave up going to the states and comes back with a new resolution in his mind. Gi-hun once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of 45.6 billion won.

Mufasa: The Lion King

MUFASA: THE LION KING is a 2024 musical drama film directed by Barry Jenkins, written by Jeff Nathanson, and produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Pastel Productions. It is the live-action styled photorealistic animated prequel to the similarly created 2019 remake of the original 1994 film The Lion King. Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, and John Kani reprise their character roles from the remake, and are joined by Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison Jr., who voice their young versions of King Mufasa and Scar, respectively.

Simba, having become king of the Pride Lands, is determined for his cub to follow in his paw prints while the origins of his late father Mufasa are explored.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG is a 2024 action adventure comedy film based on the video game series published by Sega, and the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022). It is directed by Jeff Fowler who helmed the previous two films, and written by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington, based on a story by Casey and Miller. The film draws inspiration from the video games Sonic Adventure 2 (2001) and Shadow the Hedgehog (2005).

Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are pitted against a mysterious and powerful new adversary, Shadow the Hedgehog. The trio seeks out an an unlikely ally, Dr. Robotnik, in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.

The Sticky

THE STICKY is a 2024 dark comedy series created by Brian Donovan and Ed Herro. Produced by Jason Blum and Jamie Lee Curtis, the show is loosely based on the Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist that took place between 2011 and 2012.

When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she concocts a scheme to exact revenge and shake up the industry.

Two high school nobodies make the decision to crash the last major celebration before the new millennium on New Year's Eve 1999. The night becomes even crazier than they could have ever dreamed when the clock strikes midnight.

Moana 2

Gladiator II

GLADIATOR II is a 2024 epic historical drama film directed and co-produced by Ridley Scott. Serving as a sequel to Gladiator (2000), the film was written by David Scarpa. It was produced by Scott Free Productions in association with Red Wagon Entertainment for Paramount Pictures.

Several decades after the events of Gladiator (2000), Lucius—the grandson of Rome's former emperor Marcus Aurelius and son of Lucilla—lives with his wife and child in Numidia. Roman soldiers led by general Marcus Acacius invade, forcing Lucius into slavery. Inspired by the story of Maximus, as depicted in the original 2000 film, Lucius resolves to fight as a gladiator while opposing the rule of the young emperors Caracalla and Geta.

WICKED is a 2024 musical fantasy film directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox.
