Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

September 1, 2024

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a 2024 fantasy comedy horror film directed by Oscar-nominated visionary Tim Burton, from a screenplay by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Wednesday), story by Gough and Millar and Seth Grahame-Smith (The LEGO® Batman Movie), based on characters created by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson. The film is the follow-up to the 1988 genre-defining cult classic film that was really an artistic springboard for Burton who would go on to direct Batman (1988), Edward Scissorhands (1990), and Batman Returns (1992).

Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it's only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice's name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.

Keaton returns to his iconic role alongside Oscar nominee Winona Ryder (Stranger Things, Little Women) as Lydia Deetz and two-time Emmy winner Catherine O’Hara (Schitt$ Creek, The Nightmare Before Christmas) as Delia Deetz, with new cast members Justin Theroux (Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi, The Leftovers), Monica Bellucci (Spectre, The Matrix films), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon) in his feature film debut, with Emmy nominee Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream VI) as Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, and Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (Poor Things, At Eternity’s Gate).

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is set to debut in theaters and IMAX on September 6th, 2024, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures. Watch the official trailers below.

“Twenty-seven years later, the Losers Club have grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call brings them back.”

FINALLY!!!! After two long years IT: Chapter Two is nearly here, and to hold us over until the fast approaching September release we have another trailer to drool over. Andrés Muschietti returns to the directors chair (he now goes by Andy apparently) and brings with him an absolutely stellar cast to ensure the sequel does the previous film justice. To say this is a MUST-SEE movie for 2019 would be a severe understatement!! So what are you waiting for, check out the trailers below!!

Ted Takes Fun Facts, IT: Chapter Two:

  • Bill Skarsgård (Pennywise) has stated that he had more fun on set during this movie because he was actually able to talk to and hang out with his adult co-stars. Skarsgård had minimal contact with his child co-stars in Chapter One so that they would be more genuinely scared of Pennywise once they saw him.

  • Bill Hader said since it was his first time acting in a horror film he struggled to act scared, because his natural reaction to being scared was to nervously smile.
