VIOLENT NIGHT 2 is a 2026 holiday action comedy thriller film directed by Tommy Wirkola, from a screenplay by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. The sequel to VIOLENT NIGHT (our full review here), it is yet again produced by 87North founders Kelly McCormick and David Leitch.
Stranded in a crumbling New Jersey mall and cut off from the North Pole, Santa Claus (David Harbour) is trapped dishing out violent justice to a ruthless Crime Lord and his henchmen overrunning the town's mall.
The cast includes David Harbour, Jared Harris, Kristen Bell, Joe Pantoliano, Daniela Melchior, Andrew Bachelor, and Maxwell Friedman.
VIOLENT NIGHT 2 is set to debut in theaters December 4th, courtesy of Universal Pictures. Watch the official trailer below.
