THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME is a 2025 action crime comedy film directed by Wes Anderson, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Roman Coppola. It is Anderson's third collaboration with Focus Features after Moonrise Kingdom (2012) and Asteroid City (2023).

Dark tale of espionage following a strained father-daughter relationship within a family business. Twists revolve around betrayal and morally gray choices.

THUNDERBOLTS* is a 2025 superhero film directed by Jake Schreier and written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo, based on the Marvel Comics team Thunderbolts. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is set to be the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

A group of antiheroes is forced to team up when they all find themselves targeted while on the saCIA director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine lures Marvel's team of antiheroes into a death trap, where the dysfunctional group must confront their respective pasts if they want to survive as an ensemble.

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - THE FINAL RECKONING is a 2025 action spy film directed by Christopher McQuarrie from a screenplay he co-wrote with Erik Jendresen. It is a direct sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One  (2023) and the eighth installment in the Mission: Impossible film series.

G20 is a 2025 action thriller film directed by Patricia Riggen and written by Caitlin Parrish, Erica Weiss, and Logan & Noah Miller.

Havoc

HAVOC is a 2025 action crime thriller film written and directed by Gareth Evans, the man behind The Raid, The Raid 2, and Gangs of London.

After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective (Tom Hardy) must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician's estranged son, while unravelling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.

The cast includes Tom Hardy, Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones with Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.

Clown in a Cornfield

CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD is a 2025 horror slasher film directed by Eli Craig (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil) and written by Craig and Carter Blanchard. The film is based on the Bram Stoker-Award winning 2020 horror novel of the same name by Adam Cesare. Cesare has written three books so far based on Frendo the clown, with a 4th on the way. The film was acquired by Shudder and RLJE Films.

A fading midwestern town in which Frendo the clown, a symbol of bygone success, reemerges as a terrifying scourge.

The cast includes Katie Douglas, Kevin Durand, Will Sasso, Cassandra Potenza, and Aaron Abrams.

Warfare

WARFARE is a 2025 war drama film written and directed by Iraq War Veteran Ray Mendoza and Civil War’s Alex Garland. Garland is a very talented director who recently blew audiences away with the war drama CIVIL WAR (our full review here), and this collaboration with Mendoza looks to have audiences in for quite a treat.

A platoon of Navy SEALs embark on a dangerous mission in Ramadi, Iraq, with the chaos and brotherhood of war retold through their memories of the event.

The cast includes D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Taylor John Smith, Michael Gandolfini, Adain Bradley, Noah Centineo, Evan Holtzman, Henrique Zaga, Joseph Quinn, and Charles Melton.

The Last of Us: Season 2

THE LAST OF US is a post-apocalyptic drama television series from creators Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin. The first season made it’s debut on HBO Max in 2023. Druckmann is an Israeli-American writer, creative director, designer, programmer and co-president of Naughty Dog, best known for his work on the Uncharted and The Last of Us video game franchises. Mazin previously created the successful miniseries Chernobyl for HBO.

Based on the 2013 video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog, the series follows Joel (Pedro Pascal), a smuggler tasked with escorting the teenage Ellie (Bella Ramsey) across a post-apocalyptic United States. It also features Gabriel Luna as Joel's younger brother Tommy, Merle Dandridge as resistance leader Marlene, and Anna Torv as Joel's smuggler partner Tess.

It is the first HBO series to be based on a video game, and is a joint production by Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions, Naughty Dog, The Mighty Mint, and Word Games.

YOUR FREINDS & NEIGHBORS is a 2025 drama series created by Jonathan Tropper Banshee, Warrior, See), who serves as showrunner, director, and executive producer. It is an Apple Studios series and is produced by Tropper Ink. Jon Hamm is also an executive producer.

A Minecraft Movie

A MINECRAFT MOVIE is a 2025 fantasy action adventure comedy film directed by Jared Hess, from a screenplay by Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, and Neil Widener. The film is the first-ever big screen, live-action adaptation of Minecraft, the best-selling video game of all time.

Four misfits are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they'll have to master this world while embarking on a quest with an unexpected, expert crafter.

The cast includes Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge.

The Friend

THE FRIEND is a 2024 drama film written and directed by Scott McGehee and David Siegel. The film is based on the 2018 novel by Sigrid Nunez. It had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, and screened in the Gala section at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

Writer and teacher Iris (Naomi Watts) finds her comfortable, solitary New York life thrown into disarray after her closest friend and mentor (Bill Murray) dies suddenly and bequeaths her his beloved 150 lb. Great Dane. The regal yet intractable beast, named Apollo, immediately creates practical problems for Iris, from furniture destruction to eviction notices, as well as more existential ones, his looming presence constantly reminding her of her friend’s problematic choices in both life and death. Yet as Iris finds herself unexpectedly bonding with the animal, she begins to come to terms with her past, her lost friend, and her own creative inner life.

PULSE is a 2025 medical drama series from creator Zoe Robyn, who also serves as showrunner alongside Carlton Cuse.

While the staff of Miami’s busiest Level 1 Trauma Center navigate medical emergencies, young ER doctor Danny Simms (Willa Fitzgerald) is unexpectedly promoted to Chief Resident amidst the fallout of her own provocative romantic relationship.

Wake Up

WAKE UP is a 2023 action horror film from multi-award winning French Canadian directing trio RKSS, individually known as Anouk Whissell, Yoann-Karl Whissell, and François Simard, from a screenplay by Alberto Marini and Martin Soudan. The film was an official selection at the 2023 Fantastic Fest film festival.

In an attempt to draw attention to the environmental crisis, young activists decide to invade and vandalize a furniture store. The protest quickly turns into a massacre when they find themselves trapped with a hunting-obsessed night guard.

THE LUCKIEST MAN IN AMERICA is a 2024 drama film directed by Samir Oliveros, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Maggie Briggs. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 5th, 2024.

May 1984. An unemployed ice cream truck driver (Paul Walter Hauser) steps onto the game show Press Your Luck harboring a secret: the key to endless money. But his winning streak is threatened when the bewildered executives uncover his real motivations.

THE BONDSMAN is a 2025 action horror series created by Grainger David, with Erik Oleson as showrunner and executive producer. The series will consist of eight half-hour episodes.

Resurrected bounty hunter Hub Halloran (Kevin Bacon) gets an unexpected second chance at life, love, and his nearly-forgotten musical career - only to find that his old job now has a demonic new twist.

The cast includes Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Nettles, Damon Herriman, Maxwell Jenkins, Denitra Isler, Beth Grant, and Jolene Purdy.

Psycho Therapy

PSYCHO THERAPY is a 2024 dark comedy written, directed, and co-produced by Tolga Karaçelik in his English-language debut. The film had its world premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Festival on June 8th, 2024, where it was named a runner-up for the Audience Award in the festival's Narrative competition.

A writer befriends a retired serial killer in a desperate attempt to find inspiration for his next novel and save his marriage. Covering as his marriage counselor, the killer teaches him his methods as reality becomes deadlier than fiction.

The cast includes Steve Buscemi, John Magaro, and Britt Lower.

The Penguin Lessons

THE PENGUIN LESSONS is a 2024 drama film directed by Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty), from a screenplay by Jeff Pope. The film is based on the Tom Mitchell’s 2016 memoir. The film premiered as a gala presentation at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

Inspired by the true story of a disillusioned Englishman (Steve Coogan) who went to work in a school in Argentina in 1976. Expecting an easy ride, Tom discovers a divided nation and a class of unteachable students. However, after he rescues a penguin from an oil-slicked beach, his life is turned upside-down.
