Written and directed by actress Augustine Frizzell, her directorial debut, Never Goin' Back is a slightly twisted and ironic comedy drama about two high school dropouts who decide to take a week off and chill at the beach while ignoring their glaring shortcomings in their "adult" lives. I trust pretty much anything A24 is willing to touch so I plan on watching this as soon as it becomes available, plus as misguided as these girls are they are still pretty damn cute.
