The directorial debut for Stephen Susco, Unfriended: Dark Web is the follow-up to the 2014 horror film. Susco also wrote the script and his previous writing credits include The Grudge 1 & 2 and Texas Chainsaw 3D. In the sequel a teen finds a mysterious laptop and soon finds out that the rightful owner is watching him and will do anything to get it back.
