• After over 55 film and television credits, this will be Denzel Washington's first sequel.
• The debut for 8-year old Rhys Olivia Cote, a model turned actress from Wells, Maine. After auditioning for a small role she was cast in a role pivotal to the start of the film. She can be seen twice in the beginning of the trailer.
