Dual

Dual is a 2022 satirical science fiction thriller film written and directed by Texas native Riley Stearns. Stearns, who was previously married to actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, most recently wrote and directed the 2019 dark comedy the Art of Self-Defense, starring Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots. Dual premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival on January 22, 2022.

A woman opts for a cloning procedure after she receives a terminal diagnosis but when she recovers her attempts to have her clone decommissioned fail, leading to a court-mandated duel to the death.

The cast includes Karen Gillan, Beulah Koale, Theo James, and Aaron Paul.

Dual is scheduled to be released in select theaters on April 15th, courtesy of RLJE Films. Watch the official trailer below.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is a 2022 fantasy film directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J. K. Rowling and Steve Kloves. It is the sequel to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), the third installment in the Fantastic Beasts film series, and the eleventh overall in the Wizarding World franchise. Two more Fantastic Beasts films are in development.

Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful, dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards and witches. They soon encounter an array of old and new beasts as they clash with Grindelwald's growing legion of followers.

The cast includes Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, Katherine Waterston and Mads Mikkelsen.

Outer Range is a 2022 mystery thriller streaming television series created by Brian Watkins for Amazon Prime Video. The series is described as Yellowstone meets Supernatural.

Royal Abbott, a Wyoming rancher, becomes involved in a supernatural mystery following the arrival of Autumn, a drifter with a connection to Abbott's ranch.

The cast includes Josh Brolin, Lili Taylor, Tamara Podemski, Tom Pelphrey, and Imogen Poots.

The series is unique and extremely over the top, so I think it’s safe to say it really is not for everyone - but if you can appreciate dry humor and enjoyed the movie version you will get a kick out of this vampire “sitcom”. I can’t get enough of the ridiculous cameo’s as you can see from Dave Bautista in the above photo. Check out the official trailer below!!

• This is a TV spinoff of the 2014 film of the same name, which was a remake of the 2004 short film of the same name. The show is set in the same universe as the film.
