Crime 101

October 29, 2025

CRIME 101 is a 2026 crime thriller film directed by Bart Layton, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Don Winslow.

Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, Crime 101 weaves the tale of an elusive thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose high-stakes heists unfolding along the iconic 101 freeway have mystified police. When he eyes the score of a lifetime with hopes of this being his final job, his path collides with a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) who is facing her own crossroads, forcing the two to collaborate.

The cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, and Halle Berry.

CRIME 101 is set to debut in theaters February 13th, courtesy of Amazon MGM Studios. Watch the official trailer below.

Love is Blind

January 27, 2017

Genre Reality-TV

Cast Nick Lachey

Rating TV-MA

Season Premiere February 13th, 2020 (Netflix)

“Singles who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like, have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating.”
“Is the best way to meet the love of your life by… not meeting them? Netflix is about to put that wild theory to the test with Love is Blind, a new reality series — its first serialized dating show, unless you count Grace and Frankie — in which singles get engaged to each other after only hearing their voice. During the three-week, 10-part event, which is hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, contestants will get to know their potential spouses through conversations unburdened with such things as the sight of the other person. (They speak to each other in “pods.”) After the caution-to-the-wind proposals, the couples will move in together and plan a soon-to-happen wedding.

Is hearing someone’s voice enough for love — or are these brave souls turning a deaf ear to common sense? Perhaps a little bit of both, based on this first trailer for the show. Sure, there are some hugs of relief and someone noting, “The physical attraction is on par with the emotional connection,” but there is also a runaway bride wailing, “I cannot do this!”

Love is Blind — not to be confused with Lifetime’s Married at First Sight, in which couples agree to marry upon their first meeting — debuts Feb. 13 with five episodes. Four episodes drop the following week, and a two-hour finale wraps up this bold experiment on Feb. 27.”

Happy Death Day 2U

November 15, 2016

Director Christopher Landon

Genre Horror | Mystery | Thriller

Cast Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Suraj Sharma

Rating PG-13

Release Date February 13th, 2019

“A young woman learns that dying over and over again was surprisingly easier than the dangers that lie ahead.”

Written and directed by Christopher Landon (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, Happy Death Day), Happy Death Day 2U is the sequel to the 2017 horror film about a college student who is forced to relive the day she is killed by a maniac over and over again. In the sequel she learns that what she went through before was nothing compared to what lies ahead. The “Groundhog Day” type theme worked well with the original film thanks to some creative writing and directing as well as a good balance between comedy and slasher style horror so I am looking forward to this! Check out the official trailer below!!

Ted Takes Fun Facts, Happy Death Day 2U:

  • This film may reveal how the time loop in the previous one got started in the first place as director Christopher Landon has stated that he plans to save the reason for a sequel.

  • The trailer premiered in theaters before the showing of Halloween (2018).
