Cocaine Bear

February 19, 2023

Cocaine Bear is a 2023 black comedy thriller film directed and co-produced by Elizabeth Banks, from a screenplay by Jimmy Warden. Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner's plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it, this wild thriller finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow... and blood.

The film stars Keri Russell, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Alden Ehrenreich, Matthew Rhys, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kristofer Hivju, Christian Convery, Brooklynn Prince, Margo Martindale, and the legendary Ray Liotta in his final performance.

Cocaine Bear is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 24, 2023, courtesy of Universal Pictures. Watch the official trailer below.

  • Now streaming on Peacock.

We Have A Ghost

February 19, 2023

We Have A Ghost is a 2023 comedy horror written and directed by Christopher Landon, from a story by Geoff Manaugh. Landon previously directed the 2020 comedy horror Freaky starring Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton, check out our review here, which I really enjoyed. He clearly has a good feel for that unique balance of comedy and horror.

Finding a ghost named Ernest haunting their new home turns Kevin's family into overnight social media sensations. But when Kevin and Ernest investigate the mystery of Ernest's past, they become a target of the CIA.

The cast includes Anthony Mackie, David Harbour, Tig Notaro (Army of the Dead), Jennifer Coolidge (Promising Young Woman), Jahi Di’Allo Winston (Charm City Kings), Erica Ash, Isabella Russo, Niles Fitch, Faith Ford, and Steve Coulter.

We Have A Ghost will debut exclusively on Netflix February 24th. Watch the official trailer below.

Snowfall: Season 4

March 30, 2017

“Business is booming in season four of Snowfall. It's January 1st, 1985. Ronald Reagan has won his re-election campaign proclaiming it is "morning again in America," but in South Central, Los Angeles, it feels more like the sun is getting low. The demand for crack cocaine is high, and while our crew of dealers led by Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) are benefiting greatly from the rising tide of addiction, they are also starting to become aware of the damage the drug is doing to the people and to the place they love. With the entire nation taking note, the LAPD is diverting serious money and resources to the "war on drugs." Politicians' phones are ringing. Powerful people are concerned from the hallways of The White House to those of CIA headquarters, where there are whispers that one of their own may be involved in this burgeoning epidemic.”

Watch the trailer for season 4 of the FX Original Series Snowfall below. The new season premieres February 24th 10:00 PM EST only on FX. Streaming the next day on FX on Hulu.
