The 2019 Academy Awards have concluded, and although the Kevin Hart-less show was painfully boring and brutally corny more often than not, once the smoke cleared some unexpected winners took home the gold…
Green Book took home three Oscar wins including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Mahershala Ali), and Best Original Screenplay. Many “experts” were certain Green Book had no chance at winning Best Picture due to some lingering controversy, but looks like they were wrong in the end.
Black Panther made history for Marvel with three Oscar wins as well including Best Original Music Score, Best Costume Design, and Best Production Design (these Oscar wins we can live with and feel they are well deserved).
